Insidious Chapter 3, is the third movie in Insidious Series but it's a prequel to the first two movies.
This movie is a not directly connected with the others, but there are some character from the first and second Insidious here.
This movie starts with Quinn Brenner (Stefanie Scott) meets Elise (Lin Shaye) to communicate with her mother who has passed away. Elise at the first is refuse to help, but then she accept it. When she's trying to help, she hears a demon that want to kill her then she stops. She warns Quinn, "you call out to one of the dead, all of them can hear you." She warns Quinn to stop trying to communicate with her mother.
Later, when Quinn is having audition she notices that there's somone waving at her. After the audition, she's crossing the street with her friend when she sees same dark figure waving at her again then she's hit by a car. The accident leaves her on a wheelchair. After the accident, there are more paranormal activity around her until the demon show itself to Quinn and try to kill her. This makes Quinn and her family call Specs and Tucker that we saw in previous movies. What happen after this is really creepy for me. Quinn is possessed by the demon, the Man Who Can't Breathe. She breaks her ghips even though her legs has not recovered. Soon her dad with Specs and Tucker tie her. Elise comes to help after she gain confidence that she's more powerful than the demon that want to kill her. Before, Elise is scared with the demon so she did not help. Then the battle with demon begins, Elise go to the Further to help but in the end Quinn is the who has to win the battle. Quinn loses the battle. Elise hear voice of a neighbour woman who passed away not long ago lead her to find letter from Quinn's mother. Then she asks help to Quinn's mother to help Quinn from the demon and its worked. After the peace is back, Elise with Specs and Tucker decide to form a team that we saw in the other movies.
Personally, I like the movies but it's not as scary as the previous movies. But it still a good horror. You won't see a lot of gore, so if you are someone who doesn't like it this movie is for you. Here's the trailer. Thank you .
